On the occasion of the inauguration of the Multi-Purpose Sports Hall in Sighetu Marmației, we mark an important milestone for local sports and for the entire community.
Over the years, AVIVA has consistently supported the Municipal Sports Club Sighet, contributing to the development of local athletes and sports activities. The involvement of the private sector has played a significant role in maintaining performance standards and providing better conditions for training and competition.
This investment became possible through the involvement of the Sighetu Marmației City Hall, the Maramureș County Council, and the institutions that have continuously supported sports projects and initiatives aimed at modernizing local infrastructure.
Thanks to this partnership between institutions, starting in 2026, CSM Sighetu Marmației will benefit from a modernized multi-purpose sports hall, fully prepared to host official basketball games, national competitions, and sporting events that meet modern standards.
This new facility will enable the club to strengthen both its youth and performance programs, contributing to the growth in the number of basketball players and to the development of a genuine sports culture in the region.
CSM Sighetu Marmației reaffirms its commitment as a trusted partner of the Romanian Basketball Federation, undertaking the organization of activities, competitions, and educational programs dedicated to basketball at both regional and national levels.
The new Multi-Purpose Sports Hall provides the necessary setting for hosting sports competitions at modern standards and represents a natural step toward supporting sports, young people, and the values that strengthen the community of Sighetu Marmației.
